It is commonly called the mussel and belongs to the Mytilidae family.
Scientific name: Mytilus Galloprovincialis

Habitat
They are bred in the sea or in lagoons.

Nutritional properties
Mussels contain complete proteins, antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamins B and C. They contain phosphorus, potassium and sodium which provide the digestive and stimulant properties that are typical of mussels. They contain only a small amount of fat.
